6 Ingredients, 10 minutes and a food processor is what you need and you’ll be rewarded with delightful healthy bliss balls for a whole week that you can keep in the fridge on tap for sensible snacking or to enjoy after dinner with a cup of your favourite herbal tea.

Tip: These No Bake Pumpkin Energy Balls are also date free and super easy to make.

    Ingredients

    • ¾ cup Cashew Nut Butter
    • ¼ cup Hazelnut meal
    • ¼ cup Raw Honey
    • ¼ cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
    • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Each no date bliss ball is sweetened with all natural and pure raw honey (not the awful processed stuff).  Not only is raw honey more nutritious for us, it contains loads of useful vitamins, minerals and antioxidents.

Why I Use Hazelnut Meal In These Date Free Bliss Balls

I love using hazelnut in this recipe as it is a bit more coarse than almond meal and I find it tends to have a much more nuttier flavour which works perfectly with the raw honey and subtleness of cashew butter.

Hazelnut meal can be a little bit pricey, more so than almond meal, but you certainly could use almond meal in this recipe for no date bliss balls, and it would turn out well.

I've also made these no date bliss balls for a dinner party for guests who weren't that fussed on sweets or desserts and they were a hit.

TIP:  You could also swap out the  cashew nut butter for a sugar free peanut butter if that is what you have on hand.

Additionally you could add in some chia seeds, ground cinnamon, or even vanilla which would pump up the flavour even more.

These bliss balls are are easy to make, and a great if your wanting fruit free bliss balls, but still love a little hint of sweetness.  If you  love honey and nuts together, these are a must try as well.
